This happy little piece is made from the extensive reference material and sketches that I made on my most recent visit to South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. We were lucky enough to have an incredible encounter with a small Wild Dog pack. It was early evening and as the group roused from their day-time slumbers they set about reaffirming their pack bonds, their traditional pre-hunt ritual before heading out together for their evening's work. This involved lots of tail wagging, licking, leaping about and gestures of love and respect, to the alphas in particular. In times of uncertainty, we all need a little affirmation from our loved ones! Like all my prints this one is limited to an edition of just 50.

The print measures 16 x 23 cm (printed area) with a generous white surround, each is hand signed, named and numbered.
