This bold and expressive print captures a regal looking lioness resting in the scant shade of a thorn bush in the summer heat of South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. This print is based on Shelly's own experiences of seeing these big cats in this wonderful part of the world.

In the foreground of the print glorious blue waxbills forage in the dry leaves for seeds. Overhead light filters through the thin branches dispersing shattered light through the scene.

This print is sold as a limited edition of 50 prints. Each print measures 70 x 41 cm and is hand signed, named and numbered in a 5cm white surround.

This print will be sent rolled in a tube due to its size, Shelly aims to use recycled packaging where possible.
